"I think it absolutely necessary that the President should have the power of removing [his subordinates] from office; it will make him, in a peculiar manner, responsible for their conduct, and subject him to impeachment himself, if he suffers them to perpetrate with impunity high crimes or misdemeanors against the United States, or neglects to superintend their conduct, so as to check their excesses." -- James Madison (1758-1831), Remarks in the House of Representatives, May 19, 1789

(A course of action that should probably be followed more often.)

Buried in Barack Obama's so-called stimulus bill is funding for a bureaucratic structure for the government to begin rationing the health care of the American people:

Giving judges the power to save homeowners with delinquent mortgages is a terrible idea.  Here's why:

The people in DC love their school choice vouchers, but the House just voted to kill them.  No matter, Obama send his kids to a private school:

$634 billion more for government health care, BUT Unversial Health Care will not work because the minute the system covers everyone no one will purchase private health insurance.  That's the rub.  Politicians are using numbers from the currently uninsured, not from the whole population:

"Stimulus" is a myth:

It amounts to more taxes on business and that will increase our cost of living:

Are you unhappy with the way many things are going in the USA?  If you are then let your elected representatives hear from you.  Our nation is a "representative republic."  In other words a nation where our legislators are supposed to represent your wishes, but, if you don't let them hear from you how are they supposed to know what things concern you?  Generally liberals are more group oriented than are conservatives, and tend to be more activist in nature. That's why things in our country have been becoming more and more liberal in nature, even though conservatives outnumber the liberals.  Remember, our nation only works as our founders designed it to work if the citizens participate in its operation.
