"No position appears to me more true than this; that the General Government can not effectually exist without reserving to the States the possession of their local rights. They are the instruments upon which the Union must frequently depend for the support & execution of their powers, however immediately operating upon the people, and not upon the States." -- Charles Pinckney (1757-1824), "Plan for a Government for America," Constitutional Convention, June 25, 1787

(One more of our Founding Fathers standing up for the precept that the states should be superior to the central government)

Hope your day didn't start like this:

.... or this:

Using a procedural loophole to get around the rules:

Obama Administration plans include cancelling tax breaks for oil and gas industries.  Result?  Less exploration for new energy supplies and higher prices:

Government anti-smoking programs have had some success.  Result?  Earmarks in the stimulus bill to help tobacco farmers because of lower sales:

Obama Administration's viewpoint on taxes?  More! More! More!:

Instead of making hard choices and cutting their budgets many states are asking for more stimulus money:

Still more states adopting "states rights" sovereignty bills:

Card Check Bill worse than thought.  If workers do not vote for unionization the government will step in and impose a union upon the employer for the next two years:

AIG getting another $30,000,000,000:

Must have been driving a gas hog:

Strange college courses (and probably even stranger professors):
Intelligent Thinkers Movement:

Ethical and honest?  Nope, not even a little bit:

Eastern European countries nervous about Obama:

"Under my plan, of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket" - Barack Obama: =

Liberalism at work:

In only one month the Obama Administration has made ten significant blunders:

WOW!  Here's someone who "gets it,".... and he's only 13 years old:

Mexican drug cartel hit men conduct raid in Phoenix, AZ:

Three illegal aliens in South Carolina are told to kill a Deputy Sheriff as part of a gang initiation:

Obama's Science Advisor (note particularly paragraph two):

Karl Marx predicted it:

ACORN using illegal methods and tactics to get votes for Democrats:

A year of "global cooling" wipes out a century of "global warming":

Evidence shows sun is responsible for climate change (no kidding):

Out of control juries:

Mother Pelosi, Father Frank, and Father Reid:,_what_were_churches_like?page=full&comm

Sales of "Atlas Shrugged" skyrocketing since election:

A dissertation on the reasons stimulus programs do not work (and never have):

2008 Darwin Awards:

A divorce between Liberals and Conservatives:

Pelosi's kangaroo Congress:

The liberal record.  What the left has done to California and the rest of America:

Wash your eyes out with these nature pics:

Leftist speak:

This will cause retail prices to skyrocket:

Are you unhappy with the way many things are going in the USA?  If you are then let your elected representatives hear from you.  Our nation is a "representative republic."  In other words a nation where our legislators are supposed to represent your wishes, but, if you don't let them hear from you how are they supposed to know what things concern you?  Generally liberals are more group oriented than are conservatives, and tend to be more activist in nature. That's why things in our country have been becoming more and more liberal in nature, even though conservatives outnumber the liberals.  Remember, our nation only works as our founders designed it to work if the citizens participate in its operation.
