To upset you! To anger you!
To show you enough of the abuses of liberalism that you will get involved.
To encourage you to contact your elected representatives and object.
NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNTIL YOU DO!!!
Are you unhappy with the way many things are going in the USA? If you are then let your elected representatives hear from you. Our nation is a "representative republic." In other words a nation where our legislators are supposed to represent your wishes, but, if you don't let them hear from you how are they supposed to know what things concern you? Generally liberals are more group oriented than are conservatives, and tend to be more activist in nature. That's why things in our country have been becoming more and more liberal in nature, even though conservatives outnumber the liberals. Remember, our nation only works as our founders designed it to work if the citizens participate in its operation.
“I am for a government rigorously frugal & simple, applying all the possible savings of the public revenue to the discharge of the national debt; and not for a multiplication of officers & salaries merely to make partisans, & for increasing, by every device, the public debt, on the principle of its being a public blessing." -- Thomas Jefferson (1743- 1826), Letter to Elbridge Gerry, January 26, 1799
"By gnawing through a dike, even a rat may drown a nation." - Edmond Burke
(Man, oh man! Would that today's liberal politicians believed this philosophy, and put it into daily practice.)
The people must also be self-assertive. They must have the spirit of the old Revolutionary War flag: "Don't tread on me!" They must be vigilant against those, at home or abroad, in or out of government, who might wish to trample on their rights. They must be courageous and manly, with a sense of honor, so that in hard times they will stand up and fight, and not slink away slavishly so as to avoid trouble and danger.

PLAN NOW TO ATTEND A 4th OF JULY TEA PARTY IN YOUR COMMUNITY. IF THERE ISN'T ONE ALREADY PLANNED ORGANIZE ONE YOURSELF. GET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO ATTEND.
DON'T ALLOW POLITICIANS TO PARTICIPATE (they will want to, and they will try to). TEA PARTIES ARE ABOUT "US" SPEAKING TO "THEM," NOT ABOUT "THEM" SPEAKING TO "US."
COMMENTARY: So far all the bills in Congress related to 'global warming' and/or 'climate change' have ignored what is perhaps the most important question of all...., "if there is such a thing as global warming what percentage of it is due to natural forces?" If global warming does in fact exist, and it is nearly all due to natural forces, and we succeed in changing its effects through activities like 'cap and trade', what will be the end effect on our agriculture and historic regional climates? If we do indeed succeed in reducing 'global warming' the unquestionable result would be a worldwide cooling of what are now our most productive agriculture regions, with a corresponding reduction of agriculture production. Throughout the history of the earth humankind's most prosperous eras have been in warming periods. This is an issue that the 'global warming' supporters and proponents have so far refused to address. Worse still are the more immediate effects. Read this: http://www.heritage.org/Research/EnergyandEnvironment/wm2450.cfm
