To upset you!  To anger you!

To show you enough of the abuses of liberalism that you will get involved.

To encourage you to contact your elected representatives and object.

"The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in Religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments." -- Benjamin Rush (1745-1813), On the Mode of Education Proper in a Republic, 1806

(Considering today's public education systems it is obvious that this is an admonition that today's liberal educators totally ignore)

"By gnawing through a dike, even a rat may drown a nation."  - Edmond Burke

The people must also be self-assertive. They must have the spirit of the old Revolutionary War flag: "Don't tread on me!" They must be vigilant against those, at home or abroad, in or out of government, who might wish to trample on their rights. They must be courageous and manly, with a sense of honor, so that in hard times they will stand up and fight, and not slink away slavishly so as to avoid trouble and danger.

Thomas G. West and Douglas A. Jeffrey, The Rise & Decline of Constitutional Government in America

The most important moral of all is that excellence is where you find it. I would extend this generalization to cover not just higher education but all education from vocational high school to graduate school. We must learn to honor excellence, indeed to demand it in every socially accepted human activity, however humble that activity, and to scorn shoddiness, however exalted the activity. An excellent plumber is infinitely more admirable than an incompetent philosopher. The society which scorns excellence in plumbing because plumbing is a humble activity and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because philosophy is an exalted activity will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy. Neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water. --- John William Gardner (1912 - )

Obama Administration employment numbers apparently derived out of thin air:

Bailouts biggest threat to US ever seen - Alan Greenspan:

WARNING!  In 6 months the Obama Administration has increased our national debt by as much as had been done in the previous 30 years, AND..... their current plans include covering the debt by "monetizing" it..... that is, by printing more money, or attempting to create value out of thin air, which has never worked because the added currency isn't covered by increased production in the economy:

NOTE:  I am adding this note because, while doing my research, I got a very large number of returns that approve of monetizing our debt (or see no problems with doing it).  INSANITY!  ABSOLUTE INSANITY!!!!   Actually the effect of monetizing the debt is easier to see if we use smaller numbers.  Keep in mind that the very act of "monetizing" precludes any increase in productivity.  If the total amount of money in the economy was $100, and the number of places we spent or saved that money was 50, then the average expenditure would be $2.  Now, by monetizing, we add another $100 to the amount of money in circulation.  Now there is $4 available for every expenditure, BUT, since the value of our money isn't in the paper bills themselves, but in the things we produce, the true value of every dollar has been reduced by 50%.  It will show up and appear to us as if prices have risen, when in reality the truth is that our dollars will be worth less.  The politicians will blame the "evil rich corporations and businessmen" when in reality the real culprits will be the liberal politicians.  It's called inflation folks and it can only be created by government.  Not by businesses, or unions, or the public.  See this about inflation:

Perhaps even more insidious is the current Democrat proposal to impose a VAT (Value Added Tax) on us.  A VAT imposes itself every time the has been value added in the stages of production.  For example:  Iron ore has more value once it has been mined than it had in the ground.  Add the VAT.  Iron ore has more value once it has been transported to the mill than it had at the mine.  Add the VAT.  Once smelted iron ingots have more value than it had as ore.  Add the VAT.  Iron has more value once stamped into sheet metal than it had as ingots.  Add the VAT.  Sheet metal has more value as stamped metal than it had as sheet metal.  Add the VAT.  Stamped metal has more value as assembled product than it has as stamped metal.  Add the VAT.  Painted and assembled product has more value that it had when it was unpainted.  Add the VAT.  Why do liberal politicians like the idea of a VAT?  Because nowhere will the final customer see anything that shows how much the VAT has added to the cost of what he is buying.  It is a totally hidden tax and it's adoption has almost totally strangled the European economies.  Liberal politicians like the idea of a VAT.  How about you?:

Are you unhappy with the way many things are going in the USA?  If you are then let your elected representatives hear from you.  Our nation is a "representative republic."  In other words a nation where our legislators are supposed to represent your wishes, but, if you don't let them hear from you how are they supposed to know what things concern you?  Generally liberals are more group oriented than are conservatives, and tend to be more activist in nature. That's why things in our country have been becoming more and more liberal in nature, even though conservatives outnumber the liberals.  Remember, our nation only works as our founders designed it to work if the citizens participate in its operation.
